It's been a while...

We are falling into our winter routine. Things have gotten insanely busy lately, and now with Christmas just around the corner it seems there is no extra time to be found anywhere.
Austin has started basketball. He really enjoys it. Right now they practice one night a week, and then have a couple of tournaments scheduled for later. It gives him something to do anyway! He is on a money making mission. He is trying to get some business shoveling sidewalks and driveways. So far we are his only customer! He has made some generic business card things and is in the process of creating a brochure to hand out around the neighborhood. He does a pretty good job and really enjoys it.
We got our tree up last weekend. Presents are slowly accumulating under it. The kids are curious as ever about what all of the gifts are. It is so much fun!
On the 28th of November was Phil's birthday. I don't know why, but for some reason he really has a hard time getting older. I got him the new Tiger Woods game for the wii. I am beginning to regret that decision, he is rarely away from that game! Anyway, we spent most of his birthday shopping. It was black Friday...we had to. Really, he does whine about it, but he does enjoy it. We all know that if he didn't want to go; he wouldn't. We got a ton of shopping done, but still have lots to do. We have scaled back our list this year. We aren't doing any name drawings, the kids are making gifts for people and we are just spending less in general. It should turn out to be a pretty good year finacially!
The winter sports season is now in full swing. I am shooting at least 2 nights a week! Other than it being freezing out when I leave and have to come home I am glad to have something to do! I shot "Deck the Falls" again this year. It was held over the weekend. Check out the shots of the Grinch with his dog I got! I think they turned out pretty good.

My classes are almost done...2 weeks left. I posted the shots for my Macro "Final" on the blog last week. I was proud of the way they turned out!

On Saturday night Phil and I went to his Christmas party. Mom and Dad took all the kids over night, so we could stay and not have to worry about getting home by a certain time. The party was down at Treasure Island. We had a good time. It was kind of funny; now that Phil is a manager and on the Leadership team, he was invited to the "after party"(it really wasn't after so much as during). So, all of these people ditched the Christmas party and had their own. It was in the Presidential Suite. Fantastic room! Anyway, we hung out up there for quite awhile it was pretty fun!
I am in the process of buying a website. I should be able to finish the process tonight. I am so excited. I can then have a proofing section with a shopping cart, so that my clients can have online viewing and make the purchase right off of the site if they want. They can also have family and friends check it out too! Once the site is bought then I have to put it together, and it could be launched by the end of the week...If I can find some time to work on it.
We had a family picture taken a couple of weeks back. I am going to send it out in my Christmas letter this year. As many of you know, my letters tend to come in a little late. Every year I have good intentions to get it out early, but somehow it always ends up late! Be looking for it in the mail in the next couple of weeks!
