I am finally going to have a degree! After going to school for 6 1/2 years, I will have an AA degree from the college in Duluth. This also means that for my photography degree, I have less classes to take...yeah, no stupid science or math courses. I will be able to finish that degree (AS) only taking photography courses. That is if I finish the program. I have been thinking about just taking the classes that I think I need, since I will be working for myself, I don't care if I have a diploma or not. I will hire myself regaurdless:)
I have also decided that as a marketing ploy for my photo business, it would be in my best interest to take some graphic design courses so that I can make graduation and wedding announcements with the pictures that I take. For those of you who were invited to our wedding or my graduation, the invitations we used are what I am thinking of making. I figure then I can say if I take your pictures, I will include "X" amount of invitations, and hopefully more will be ordered. Plus then I could charge a little more. Still in the planning stages, but eventually everything will fall into place.
For now I am happy that I finally finished that AA degree. It should be official in a month or so!
