This is it. The unofficial end to summer. I sent Austin out the door a little over 45 minutes ago. He was a little nervous though. He had a hard time falling asleep last night. And then he was up in our room at 5 saying that he couldn't sleep. I of course sent him back to bed! This is also the first year since preschool he is not going to be in the same class as his best friend. They will be able to play together at recess though. Austin was placed in the advanced class and is with the teacher that he had for math last year. She was a lot of fun, so we are expecting a good year.
Belle will start on Friday. She has a conference today where we can go and meet her teacher. We will also take her supplies so that she doesn't have so much on the first day to bring. She is excited and a little jelous that Austin starts before she does.
And finally Carson will start next Monday. He has an open house on Thursday then he will meet his teacher. She is the same one Belle had last year.
It will be nice for all the kids to be gone. They need space and time away from each other. The last couple of weeks have been nothing but fighting and arguing. Hopefully it will allow me to have time to get my own home work done while they are gone, so that we can have fun when they are all home together.
