Vacation!!!

Last Sunday we left for a "short" trip to Duluth. When we got there, they said that our room wasn't ready yet. It would be 20 minutes, so we hopped back in the van and drove around for a half hour. When we got back to the Hotel, they said that the room still wasn't ready and it would be another 20 minutes! So we stood in the lobby this time and waited. They had huge windows that over looked the pool. The kids watched the others having fun down in the water park. After about 20 minutes the girl behind the desk said that our room still wasn't ready. So she "upgraded" us to a bigger room! We got the King bed and 2 sets of bunkbeds, but the bunkbeds were in a separate room. Plus we had a balcony that overlooked the pool area. There was a table with 4 chairs, a fridge, a microwave, and 2 tv's! It was great!
The kids had a blast in the waterpark. We were in the park for 5 hours the first day and 8 hours on the second day. Phil and I were a little sick of being in the water by the time we were done, but before we left the kids said that they want to go back again. Austin, Belle, and Carson all enjoyed the huge water slides, but this year we spent most of our time in a 3 foot pool. They had lilly pads for the kids to jump across the pool on, there was a section shaped like a circle that the water pulled you along in a circle. The kids had life jackets on and they just floated around in a circle. They also had basketball hoops, the kids had fun shooting baskets.
Nessa didn't like the 6 inch deep pool, I thought she would love it because she could stand on her own, but there was a HUGE bucket that filled and then dumped all over that part of the park. She was terrified of the "splashes".
I will post pictures later.
Phil is leaving for Indy tomorrow, he will only be gone 2 days. It still sucks though! I think it is just rediculous that he has to go again. Last time he went for a week, he said that they didn't accomplish 1/2 of what they should have. I think that they should just teleconference, but what do I know? I am hoping that he will finish Austin's room up so that I can paint it while he is gone, but it looks like he needs a few more days. I guess that while he is gone I will just do homework. This semeseter has been rough, there has been so much homework that I have little time for anything else!
Friday was my last scheduled work day, so now I am on "vacation"! The money from working is nice, but I will enjoy spending all of the evenings at home.
Our puppies are now 5 weeks old. They are playfull, and fluffy. They have fun when we let them run around the living room. They will even cry to get out of the pen. The kids have fun with them now that they are playful. I still haven't taken pictures of them, but I will post them when I do.
Better go now, I will update soon and add pictures.
