Nessa is sick!!!

Ness was unusually crabby on Friday, so I figured she had an ear infection. So I called the doctor at 9:45, they said can you be here at 10:15. (we doctor in Redwing, a half hour away) I said sure, because I didnt know what other time they would have open if any. Ness was in the middle of her morning nap and Belle and Carson were at preschool. I quick packed a diaper bag woke Nessa up and we were off. WE had to stop at the preschool and pick up the other 2 kids, since we wouldn't make it back before preschool was over. So I flew in and grabbed both of them. On my way out of town I called Phil at work and told him to meet us at the doctor so that he could watch Belle and Carson. We made it probbably 5 miles down the road and got stuck behind a propane truck driving 50 miles an hour. I only had like 15 minutes at this point to get to the doctor. So finally the truck turned off in Vasa (half way between here and the doctor.) So then I flew. I was going at least 70 in some spots. We did end up late to the doctor but it was only like 5 minutes, so not too bad.
Once we got into see the doctor Nessa had started wheezing. So he looked her over and said everything looked good but since she was wheezing he wanted to give her a nebulizer to see if that would loosen stuff up for her. She hated it. I had to try to hold the mask over her face while holding her arms down. It was not a fun 10minutes to say the least! So then after that the doctor came back in and listened again, he said she had bronchitis and he would prescribe a Nebulizer to use at home.
I sent Phil to pick it up at the drug store and the kids and I headed home. On the way home I had to stop numerous times because Ness was coughing so bad that she would gag! Then she would like have huge goobers coming out of her nose. I kept thinking that she would choke to death. My only thought was, she is having a allergic reaction to the albuterol. So when we got home I called the doctor and told them what was going on. They told me to give her warm apple juice and stand her next to a hot shower. I was not impressed with this response, my baby was choking to death and they say give her hot apple juice! Finally she stopped coughing and fell asleep, but then we had to go through the whole thing again like 6 hours later!
By the third time we had to do it she was getting used to wearing the mask. THe picture below is of her wearing the mask! We can now make it about half way through the treatment with her sitting ok, then we have to chase her head around for the rest of it. Yesterday I only had to do it once, so hopefully she won't need it today.
