This past Saturday the trees were absolutely beautiful. They had a layer of frost as well as fresh snow on all the branches. While we were waiting for Austins game to start we managed to sneak away and get a few pictures.

SNOW DAY
The kids didn't have school last Monday due to a snow storm. So we went sledding in the afternoon.

BASKETBALL
Austin has had several tournaments this winter...Here are some shots from one of them.Phil's Aunt and Uncle gave each of the kids a wrist band for the Nickelodeon Theme Park at the MOA. So, we spent our New Year's Eve at the Mall. The kids rode on rides all day and had a blast! Then they had a small concert with "the voice of Sponge Bob" and his back up singers before dropping the ball at 10 pm. We did this last year and the kids begged to do it again this year, since neither Phil or I are big drinkers/partyers we prefer to spend time together as a family on New Years. I really think it will be something that the kids will look back on and appreciate when they are older.
The ball and all the balloons they dropped at 10.
Voice of Sponge Bob and his band
They had several meet and greets with Nick characters. Here are all the kids with Dora and Diego.
