We got 7 1/2 inches of snow on Friday. The kids were so excited when they woke up in the morning and saw the ground covered. I on the other hand was shocked and not particularily happy. Phil was still in Indianapolis, so I had to do the shoveling! One would think that snow blowing would be easier right? Well, I went to get the snow blower, but it wasnt ready for the winter. I had to do something to the wheel and then put it back on. That took like 30 minutes! The snow blower weighs like 2 times as much as I do. So, it was heavy to lift and steady to put the wheel back on. When I finally got the wheel on, I had to start it. Yea, that didn't go to well either. I got it started once, but when I went to go it died! So then I guess I flooded it and needed to let it sit for a while. So I did. Then went back out and got it started. I made it down the side walk once, and it died! I went to start it again and this HUGE flame shot out. THen I decided that I was done. But since I couldnt get it started again the snow blower just sat out on the corner, because I couldn't move it unless it was started. When Mark and Amanda got here on Friday night, Mark went out to move it, I guess there was a piece of ice that jammed the spinning thing that makes the snow shoot. Mark got it put back in the garage. When Phil got home on Saturday, he finally got it running and was able to finish blowing the side walk. I HATE WINTER! +
