Where to start???

Well, Belle finished up her Girl Scout cookie selling. Her final total was 100 boxes! Phil and I had to buy 11 boxes to get her to 100, that will earn her a patch. We also signed her up for dance at the beginning of the month. It is every Tuesday afternoon for 45 minutes. Her first recital is next Saturday. She absolutly loves it, and continues to dance her way around the house. Yesterday Nessa and I surprised her at school and ate lunch with her. She has been asking for us to, so after Nessa got done with school we headed up there. She was so excited!
Austin has another basketball tournament next weekend. He has also started guitar lessons with the music teacher at the school. Mom and Dad bought him a guitar for Christmas, so he is excited to start learning how to play. Their first assignment was to name his guitar after a famous guitar player. He named it Jimmy, after Jimmy Hendrix.
Carson has developed quite an attitude. I am not sure what has gotten into him lately, but we are working to correct it ASAP! He is working on reading. If he sees a word he will try to sound it out. I was reading the paper yesterday and he sat down beside me and said I know that word. So, any day now he should take off reading books! We also finally mastered tying our shoes. He is still lazy and wants us to do it, he says because it takes him too long.
Nessa loves going to school. And has lots of friends. She and Phil went to a extra class together the other night. They had fun and it was good for the 2 of them to spend time together. They came home with a few Valentine projects and she was so proud!
With this being Valentines weekend Phil and I are going to go all out! The girls high school dance team made it to state again this year, so I have to go the Target Center on both Friday and Saturday (all day) to shoot it for the paper. Phil has his alumni tournament on Saturday and Sunday, so he will be at that. Then we are going to go out with everybody on Saturday night...Romantic right? I am still trying to find a babysitter for Saturday night, hopefully it will work out because it will be nice to go out after a long week and the dance tournament.
Last week I got rid of the purple in the living room. Most of you know that we are hoping to move someday. We have looked at several houses, but have yet to find one we see ourselves in. Anyway, once we do find a house we will either need to sell this house or rent it out, so I am trying to turn the wall colors more nuetral. I painted the living room a cream color. It looks so much bigger, it is amazing! I am trying to redecorate it as well. I am going to add curtains and other accents to the room. Next project is to repaint the stairway to upstairs. Maybe that will happen next week; we'll have to see.
Last weekend I got to shoot Phil's cousins senior pictures. It was still rather chilly so we kept most of them inside, but we were able to get out and go down town for a few. In a short time we were able to take 300+ pictures. I narrowed it down to 200 for her to narrow down to 40 for her proof book. I am working on a few minor edits on them before I send them off to be printed. As soon as I get her signed release form I plan to put a few of the pictures up on my website...stay tuned!
I have only have one new picture to post: I took this of Nessa last weekend while I had my lights set up. Doesn't she look inocent?
